The Lutheran Church of Mahomet, and all of the ELCA, is committed to caring for God's bountiful creation. As stewards of its resources and security, we live in this earth in wonder and passion, grateful for the variety and growth around us. We also confess our participation in this world's damage. But, our hope in God and the Holy Spirit's ability to work through the people of this Earth energizes us. We came together on Earth Sunday, April 24, with a focus on worship and God's creation. Here is just a small sampling of the many ways this community showed up for the earth. Thank you to all who participated, and are still participating, in these ways and more! |
