Military Family Prayer Support Group

The Military Family Prayer Support Group meets the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8 pm at the Lutheran Church of Mahomet. This group is open to anyone who is a family member or friend of a soldier serving in the military. Soldiers are expected to serve our country in long and dangerous missions. The impact on families can be stressful. The goal of this group is to create a caring community that can walk alongside you. Adult Inquiry Class

The  "Adult Inquiry Class"  will be offered in 2 times a year. The next session is scheduled for September, 2013.  This class is open to all adults who want to know more about the Christian Faith and what it is that Lutheran Christians teach and believe.  There is no obligation other than to come and participate.  If after one has completed the class you desire to become a member of the congregation you are welcome.  The class is taught by Pastor Vic Baderschneider and Pastor Emil Blobaum. Adult Sunday School

Meets Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.  Note meeting areas with the women in the Adult class room and the men at a corner table in the Fellowship Hall. The classes begin at 10:30 a.m. for approximately 45 minutes. Each class is centered on Biblical application to issues common to women and men respectively. Both groups have sparked interest in their subject matters, the women are led by Karen Ickstadt, the men are led by Alex Paul. You will not want to miss these lively discussions.
