We are so excited that you are considering membership here at the Lutheran Church of Mahomet! You are gifted with unique passions and skills that will enrich our community and worship life. God is at work in your life in ways that only you can witness to, and we would be honored to join your journey. We are a community who champions love and values diversity! Becoming a voting member of this congregation is painless and quick. Prospective members are asked to set up a meeting with the pastor--which takes about 45 minutes--so that we can get to know each other a bit better and answer any questions that you might have. The ritual that will happen on a Sunday morning is an Affirmation of Baptism, which is an opportunity to share your Baptismal experience with the congregation.
