Worship Service
The Sunday Worship Service will focus on the following context.
  • Confirmation class is writing an icon (Christ creating the world), which will be used in worship and eventually auctioned off for the youth fund (if you or anyone at Faith in Place might have an idea of how to publicize the silent auction for the icon let me know)
  • Revelation text will center us in the sermon time and will revolve around caring for the earth
  • Hymn/song selection will reflect stewardship of earth theme
  • Litanies and prayers will be written to reflect Earth Sunday theme

Parish Nurses
LCM Parish Nurses are sponsoring the following events.
  • Bike to Church Sunday (hopefully the first of a quarterly practice)
  • People can bring old, out-of-date medications which the nurses will properly dispose of
  • Blood pressure checks
